Primary category
I am using the classic slider, and I have chosen to 'show category', in the little badge at the top. Each post is saved into multiple categories, but I cannot choose which of these categories is showing here. Each post has a 'primary' category chosen, the main one that would show up in a breadcrumb, but I only wanna dispaly a single category here, and I want that to always be the primary one.
Can I select the primary one? Or manually select which one is shown?
The 2 here that say 'issue 01' should both say 'sci-fi', but this option is just choosing whichever comes first alphabetically.

I think it can be done with custom CSS.
1) Increase category limit
2) Add a custom color to the desired category
3) Send me a link to this page, and I'll create a CSS code for you.

Thanks for this and sorry for the late reply. Here is the page where I need the custom CSS. As you can see the plugin widget is being used multiple times. We have a few other pages where the same thing will be used also, so hopefully we can use sitewide CSS, or at least a simple bit if code I can edit for each individual use of the widget.

Thanks for this. But are you asking for ALL categories to have the same colour, or different colours? Cos different colours would go against our overall branding rules, and how would that work inside a full slider box, that maybe has 10 posts, all with a different primary category?
If they just needed to be the same colour, I have set that up for all of them, its #007A77
It will have the possibility to show only one category per widget. Different primary categories will not possible to do.

Ah ok, well that is what we need. We need to show either 'fantasy' or 'sci-fi' in the same sliding post box...so if that is not possible, no worries, I will find another plugin for this one. Thanks for all your help.
